Only Murders in the Building

Our Objectives

The primary art for our digital advertisements aligned with the integrated campaign. It showcased the series' main ensemble surrounded by Broadway-like designs, including a marquee and spotlights. The digital campaign included pre-release, post-release, and evergreen flights.

The Emmy award winning show added two juggernaut actors in Season 3.
Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd were featured in website takeovers with high visibility.

We teamed up with our talented copywriters to create faux critics' reviews for Death Rattle and its cast and crew. Our copy teased the themes of the series - death, murder, and mystery - with an ironically light and humorous tone.  

 

Banners with the critics' quotes and Death Rattle branding appeared on Playbill's website with a full-length review of the play.

Our native banner advertisements were also paired with a virtual Playbill. With our copy team, we developed concepts for its interior pages. Our final result reflected a real-life Playbill with pages dedicated to billing, the cast of characters, and a word from the creator of Death Rattle.  

To make our Playbill feel true to the universe of Only Murders in the Building, we designed advertisements that were based off of storylines in the show. After presenting numerous concepts, the final solve was a page split into quadrants. Three of the four quadrants contained our conceptual advertisements, while one quadrant promoted the Only Murders in the Building Season 3 soundtrack using adapted key art.

Our partners at Playbill presented us with a unique opportunity to create a family of advertisements on their website.
To amuse Playbill's audience, we highlighted the play within Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building, Death Rattle.
